Nike Air Trainer 1 Mid “Super Bowl”

Inspired by the Vince Lombardi Trophy, which is hoisted in the air in triumph by the Super Bowl victors, Nike Sportswear has hooked up this edition of the Air Trainer 1 Mid. The kicks are built on a semi-translucent outsole with a glossy plastic upper that has a holographic type visual texture.

Nike Basketball Store in Japan by Specialnormal

Tokyo-based design studio Specialnormal recently completed their latest project, designing the interior of the largest Nike Basketball store in Japan. At the shop entrance there is a space called the “initiative zone” with a large seamless screen, presentation table and free-throw space with a special stage to display the latest products. A shoe wall and presentation wall have been installed to surround the shop, along with a special Jordan Brand section at the rear. By reinterpreting the elements of conventional gymnasiums, Specialnormal carefully selected the most suitable materials for the brand’s image, such as smoke brown herringbone flooring, white-colored concrete blocks and wooden plates.
